Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a RECREATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT to join our ROSALIA GARDENS team!

Responsible for planning, development, implementation and supervision of activities and recreational opportunities to enrich and enhance the health and well-being of our residents, participants, and tenants. Collaborates with the Apartment Coordinator, Adult Day Care Staff, Registered Nurse, and Resident Assistants in the planning and development of appropriate programming. Reports directly to the Director, Senior Care Services.

HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly

Experience/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, CNA desired
• Previous experience directing recreation therapy programs in healthcare, prior experience as a resident assistant, or previous experience with behavioral programming preferred
• Prior documented career experience in a rehab facility, with exposure to the aging process, dementia and chronic diseases of elderly preferred
